WHAT IS RWA?

RWA is an association of persons who stand up collectively to represent the interest of the members of a specified area/locality. RWA is governed by The Societies Registration Act, 1860. Minimum of seven members within the state elected by the society residents can apply

for RWA registration with the jurisdictional state registrar.

Documents Required:

  • MOA of the RWA

​

  • Rules and regulations of the RWA

​

  • Affidavit No.1 (regarding relationship between the subscribers)

​

  • List of Body members ( name, Full address, Occupation and Signature on the list).

​

  • Affidavit No.2 (regarding NOC for the registered office of the proposed society) with address proof/ electricity bill in the name of the owner/GPA

​

  • Address proof of all the members self attested or attested by a Gazetted Officer/Notary Public/Oath Commissioner

​

  • Attested copy of documentary proofs like sale deed/Lease deed/ General power of attorney

​

  • Covering letter to the registrar requesting RWA registration

​

  • PAN card of all Body members

​

  • One Affidavit from President ( on stamp paper, notarized)
