INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT

WHAT IS INDEPENDENT CONTRACT AGREEMENT?

An independent contractor may be hired by a business/company to perform a particular job. However, the contractor has autonomy over how the job is completed as he is not an employee of the business.

Due to this very reason, a comprehensive contract must be signed between the parties so that the work assigned is done in an orderly manner and according to the specifications of the business.

The first thing that must be kept in mind is that the independent contractor agreement must be well-written and drafted as per the requirements and characteristics of the business relationship between the individual hiring the services and independent contractor.
